In season 5, Jonny and Plank love the school bus, especially the notoriously bad seats. This is the first reference to a bus in the series. Jonny and Plank discuss how much fun riding the bus is and immediately things get bad. It seems consistent enough with the long hilly road Jonny took to the candy store in the movie, though!

I’ve never considered using what we learn from this episode, because it’s just a bunch of nondescript season 1 streets and they don’t even make it to the store. The candy store has no spot on the official map and I’ve had so much trouble mapping it because the artists are always redesigning its street to fit an episode’s needs. What happened to the background outlines? The Eds arrive in a cardboard bus and the kids start loading up and giving Edd their bus fare.Įd does a really creepy breathing animation, and Eddy blows a horn in his ear. That house behind him has some pretty interesting window designs! There… appears to be a hair on that background loop.Įddy is wearing a hat and holding Ed’s reins. These kids are really just standing around, appreciating jazz? There’s no special music, though, just the usual jazz background music.

We widen to reveal that the kids are all bobbin’ around to Kevin’s boombox. We open on a childishly drawn sign that says Candy Store and has a picture of a bus on it. I think most of season 1 is going to have very straightforward titles and cards, so I guess there’s not much more I can say about that… Onto the episode!Įdit : We now know this episode was at least partially boarded by Scott Diggs Underwood. The title card shows a strange looking hypnotist with big blue eyes and a unibrow shooting hypnosis lightning bolts as you look into his eyes.

The episode is about Eddy hypnotizing people, so there you go! ‘Look Into My Eds’ is titled in reference to the phrase “Look into my eyes,” commonly said by hypnotists.
